Mario took out his backpack.

"Let's see now," he thought.

"I'll need to take several things with me."

He was going to Bobby's apartment in the

city for the weekend.

Mario's parents were taking a short trip.

He started to pack his sleeping bag,

favorite blanket, a book and a baseball.



"Ready to go?" his mom called.



"Yes, Mom."



They headed to Bobby's house.

On the way, Mom reminded him to behave,

be safe, and have a good time.

"Sounds like you will be busy," she said.
