It's time to go
And trick or treat
We're scared to death
Down to our feet

We have costumes
We have our lights
We must be ready
For quite a fright

When goblins, ghosts
And monsters come
To scare us all
And send us home

And so we walk
On down the street
And we wonder
What we will meet

When we come to
The haunted place
We stand and stare
Fear grips our face

We know it's haunted
And we are scared
That something bad
Will happen here

There is a light
Up on the porch
And slowly we
Walk to the torch

Knees are shaking
Stomachs churning
Lips are quaking
Some are turning
