Louise, the Peer Mediator

1     Did you ever disagree with someone else? Of course, you have! From the time people are little they disagree over small things. Why did he get the biggest cookie? Why can't I go first? When we were little, we cried and yelled to get our way. As we get a little bit older, though, we learn to share and take turns. It's part of life that we may disagree with someone else. It's how we handle this disagreement that's important.
 
2     A group of friends were playing baseball. Another group came along and wanted to play as well. The first group said no. Uh-oh...
 
3     Patricia and Madeline share a room. Patricia always cleans up. Madeline always leaves her toys around. When Patricia walked into the room, toys were everywhere. Uh-oh...
 
4     Gus was trying to do his homework. His little sister was singing quietly. Gus was trying to concentrate, but his little sister was getting louder and louder. Uh-oh...
 
5     It was a rainy day. John and David were playing a board game. They were having fun until John realized David was cheating to get ahead. Uh-oh...
