Pharmacists

1     Alex had an infection that required an antibiotic. He had strep throat. He visited the doctor. The doctor wrote out a prescription for the medicine that would make him better. Where did he take that prescription to get the medicine? He went to his local pharmacist.
 
2     Dan's grandfather had Alzheimer's disease and was in a nursing home. He needed certain medications to keep him physically and mentally as stable as possible. Who filled the prescriptions for Dan's grandfather? The pharmacist at the nursing home did.
 
3     Vicki was a cardiologist. She saw many patients every day. However, drug companies wanted her attention, too. They wanted her to use their medications to treat her patients. Who would visit her to inform her of some options? Pharmacists/salespeople would often meet her at lunch to talk.
