There was an old woman
Who had a big pan
And in it she baked
A gingerbread man
 
²     
She wanted a snack
For the old man
And so she made him
A gingerbread man
 
³     
Alas the poor woman
Pulled out the pan
And to her surprise
He jumped and he ran
 
⁴     
Out of the door
And right past the man
Laughing and crying
"Catch me if you can!"
