Carrie Learns About Caring in a Car
By Beth A. Beutler

1     "I don't care!"
      Carrie said.
      I just want
      To go to bed.

2     My day stank.
      It was bad.
      That girls' group
      Makes me so mad.

3     Think they're cool.
      They are not.
      They are mean.
      They act like snots.

4     They made fun
      Of my hair style.
      Leave me be.
      For awhile!

5     I carpool home
      With Mrs. Brown.
      She asked me why
      I had a frown.
