Dino Sore
By Beth Beutler

The dinosaurs' soccer game was stopped yet again.

"Ow!" screamed Thomas Triceratops. "You stepped on my foot!"

"You should have gotten out of the way!" bellowed Bryan Brontosaurus.

Thomas limped away. Bryan stomped off in the other direction. "He's always in my way. He's a whiner. He's a sore loser. He's always stopping the game, especially when his team is behind."

The referee blew the whistle. "All right, let's start again. Thomas, are you ready?"

"I don't think so," Thomas cried.

     "Oh, brother," Bryan thought.

"What's the matter?" the referee said as he jogged over to Thomas.

"My foot is really sore," Thomas whimpered.
