1     "Hooray, it's payday!" John shouted at lunchtime.
 
2     "Did you get your paycheck?" Lisa asked.
 
3     "Yep, it was in my mail slot in the break room," John said.
 
4     "Make sure you check it and see that it's right," Lisa told him.
 
5     "What do you mean? The company wouldn't make a mistake, would it?" John asked.
 
6     "We all make mistakes," Lisa told him. "I always check mine to see if it matches my records. You should check yours every time you get paid, too."
 
7     "How do you do that?" John asked.
 
8     Lisa told him that there are some things that affect the amount of pay.
