Cleaning Your Bedroom
By Cathy Pearl

1     Your bedroom is supposed to be a quiet place where you can go to rest. It doesn't always work this way. Sometimes the room is so dirty, all you can think about is cleaning it up. Following a few simple tips can help keep your room clean and help you rest.

2     The first thing you need to do is grab your cleaning supplies. What you need will depend on what you need to clean. You will probably need rags to dust with. You may need clean sheets if you are going to change the bed. Most people don't keep these supplies in their bedroom. That is why it is important to grab them before you go in.

3     Clean up all the dirty clothing and throw it into the hamper. Since you are just cleaning quickly, don't worry about socks that are stuck into little balls or shirts that are inside out. You can fix these when you do the wash. Just grab all the dirty clothes that are thrown all over the room and throw them into the hamper.

4     Next come the clean clothes. Pick these up and put them away. Some clothes may need to be folded and put into drawers. Others may need to be hung in the closet. Just taking care of all the clothes that are lying around can make your room look a lot cleaner.
