Getting Rid of Snow
By Cathy Pearl

1     Winter is really pretty to look at. At first the snow is pretty. But after there is four feet of in sitting in your driveway, it isn't pretty anymore. Now you have to figure out a way to get rid of it. If you don't, your car will get stuck and you will never get to work.

2     If there is a lot of snow in the driveway, you may not be able to get rid of it all by yourself. This will really be true if you have a long driveway. If this happens, you can hire someone to get rid of the snow. This person can be hired to do the job one time.

3     You can also hire someone at the start of winter and pay him or her to plow your driveway all winter. If you get a lot of snow, this may be better. But if you only get a little snow, you may want to call someone only when you need the driveway plowed.

4     If you have a shorter driveway but don't want to shovel, you can buy a snow blower. A snow blower is a great machine to own. It can make less work and get rid of the snow a lot faster. But a snow blower can be a very dangerous machine, too.
