Keeping Your Yard Clean

¹     Owning your own home is a very exciting thing. Everything is clean and fresh. But if you don't take care of your house, it could become a big mess. One of the parts of your house that can quickly look messy is right outside your front door.

²     It's easy to collect things that you don't need anymore. Sometimes it is very hard to throw things away. But after awhile, you start to run out of places to put things. You can also run out of time and not do the things that need to be done. If you don't take care of things, the mess can get out of control.

³     Mowing your lawn is an important job. It is one of the first things that people see when they stop at your house. You don't want people to have to walk in tall grass. That can make it hard to get to the front door. Keep the lawn short and neat.

⁴     Trash can also collect around your house. This is not just messy. It can be dangerous, too. Trash can invite wild animals to come to your house. These animals might be small, like mice. The animals could also be large, like bears.
