Great Uncle Joe, Uncle Joe |
"Tomorrow is the 100th day of school," Mr. Jones told his class.
"How long is 100 days?"
"About 12 weeks," Luke said.
"No, it is 10 months," Jim said.
"You are both wrong," Ann said. "It is a whole year!"
"How long is 100 days?" the class asked Mr. Jones.
Mr. Jones smiled.
"I'm not going to tell you," he said. "I want you to find out for yourselves."
"How can we do that?" the children asked.
"I want you to go home and think about it," Mr. Jones said.
"Tomorrow each one of you should bring 100 of something."
"I do not know of anything," Mike said.
"Neither do I," John whined.
"Just think about it. Look around you. I bet everyone can find 100 of something."
