1 Kelly était contente. Mamie et papy allaient venir à la maison. Kelly aimait jouer avec mamie et papy.
2 Kelly jouait avec mamie et papy dehors. Elle courut. Elle fit du vélo. Elle grimpa dans un arbre.
3 Maman appela Kelly pour venir manger. Maman appela également mamie et papy. Kelly ne voulait pas manger. Elle voulait jouer.
4 « Kelly ! » cria Maman.
5 « Je veux jouer ! » rétorqua Kelly. « Je ne veux pas manger maintenant. »
6 Mamie et papy parlèrent avec Kelly. « Nous avons faim, nous » dirent-ils. « Viens manger avec nous, s'il te plaît. »
7 « D'accord » dit Kelly.
8 « C'est bien, Kelly. Tu seras contente d'avoir dîné. La nourriture t'aide à jouer » dit papy.
9 Kelly et papy s'assirent à table.
