Un invento chulo

1     Ralph se tambaleó al entrar la puerta delantera de su casa y se cayó en el sofá. El ventilador que colgaba del cielo creaba una brisa placentera en la sala aire acondicionada.
 
2     -Ahhhhh,- dijo él al estirarse en la brisa fresca.
 
3     Papá pasó por allí, llevando su camiseta de calentar y deportes del aire y colocó un vaso alto de agua congelada en la mano de Ralph.
 
4     -Gracias, Papá,- dijo él, al tragar el líquido fresco. Se paró al acabarlo todo. Entonces, empezó a mascar el hielo medio derretido.
 
5     -¿Hace calor afuera?- preguntó Papá, aunque era obvio que ya sabía la respuesta.
 
6     Ralph le afirmó con la cabeza. -Jamás había apreciado el aire acondicionado como lo hago hoy.-
 
7     -Estoy seguro de que Willis estaría satisfecho,- dijo Papá.
 
8     -¿Willis?-
 
9     -Willis H. Carrier. Era él quien creó nuestros sistemas modernos del aire acondicionado,- dijo Papá al relajarse en su sillón.
