1     Algunos árboles tienen hojas. Sus hojas se vuelven rojas, amarillas, anaranjadas y doradas en el otoño. Las hojas se vuelven marrones y se caen en el invierno.
 
2     Algunos árboles tienen agujas. Sus agujas no cambian de color en el otoño. No se ponen marrones ni se caen en el invierno. Permenecen verdes todo el año.
 
3     Algunos árboles tienen frutos que se pueden comer. Los manzanos y los perales tienen frutas comestibles. Algunos árboles tienen frutos que no querrás comer. Los pinos, por ejemplo. Su fruto se llama piña.
