Ispirato da un libro

1     Rico si infilò il cappotto ed il cappello e si diresse fuori dalla porta. Andò nel garage e afferrò un secchio di chiodi, una sega, ed un martello. Li trasportò fino a una struttura che stava costruendo nel giardino posteriore. Posò gli oggetti e si mise distante per ammirare cosa aveva iniziato.
 
2     "Brr, fa freddo oggi," disse una voce dietro di lui.
 
3     Rico si girò per vedere il suo amico, Keith, che camminava verso di lui.
 
4     "Ciao Keith," disse Rico, strofinandosi le braccia per tenersi caldo.
 
5     "Che cosa stai facendo?" chiese Keith.
 
6     "Sto costruendo un rifugio".
 
7     "Perché hai bisogno di un rifugio?"chiese Keith. "So che fa freddo, ma puoi andare in casa per ripararti".
 
8     Rico sorrise, tirò su la sua sega, ed iniziò a tagliare un pezzo di legno. "Sto facendo finta di essere naufragato su un'isola deserta".
 
9     "Forte!" disse Keith. "Come ti è venuta in mente questa idea?"
 
10     "Abbiamo appena finito di leggere ‘Robinson Crusoe'," disse Rico. "Che storia! Ehi ho un'idea, ti va di aiutarmi?"
 
11     "Penso di sì, "disse Keith. "Cosa vuoi che faccia?"
 
12     "Devi far finta di essere ‘Venerdì," disse Rico mentre si chinava per tirare su il suo martello.
 
13     "Chi è ‘Venerdì?" chiese Keith.
