People, People Everywhere
By Kathleen W. Redman

1
People, People Everywhere

2     People, people everywhere!
   There's a girl in a chair.
   There's a guy with a bat.
   There's a miss with a hat.

3     People, people everywhere!
   There's a boy under there.
   There's a lady with a man.
   There's a woman in a van.

4     People, people everywhere!
Male and female here and there.
    Big ones, small ones,
   Short ones, tall ones.

5     People, people everywhere!
Try to count them if you dare.
You can't do it, you will see.
Oh, how many could there be?

6     Susan was proud of her poem. She very carefully wrote her name at the bottom of the page. She used her green pen. It was very pretty. She wrote "Susan Tyler."

7     "There!" she said to her cat Sully. "Miss McDonald will like it, too. Do you like it, Sully?"

8     Sully just looked at Susan and said, "Meow."
