Health Care Is Important

1     Marcy is eight years old. She is in the third grade in school. Marcy likes to run. Her dream is to run in the Olympics.
 
2     One day when Marcy was running, she began choking. She felt as if her throat was closing, and she was having trouble breathing.
 
3     Marcy's mother took her to see her family doctor. The doctor told Marcy that she had asthma. The doctor gave Marcy some pills. The pills would help Marcy to breathe. She could run again and not have to worry.
