By Patti Hutchison

Your vacation is coming up soon. You are so excited! You've decided where to go and how to get there. Now what? You need to make a few more decisions.

You will need to find a place to stay. There are many kinds of lodging to choose from. Many people stay at a hotel. Most hotels offer a place to sleep. Your room will probably have a bed, dresser, TV, and perhaps a table and chairs. You will also have your own bathroom.

Some hotels offer other services. There may be a pool. Many hotels have a fitness room where you can exercise. Some even offer free breakfast. You will most likely have maid service every day. But hotels can be expensive. You will need to consider your budget and shop around.

You can shop for a hotel online. There are many websites that will help you to make reservations. You will need to know where and when you are going and how long you will be staying. When you type these things in, a list of hotels will come up. The price for each night will be listed. You will also be able to see what services the hotel offers. You can find one that fits into your budget. Then you can reserve it online using your credit card.
