Where Is My Pen?
By KATHLEEN W. REDMAN

"Children," Ms. Rabbit said, "please close your books. We are going to have a test."

All the little bunnies groaned. They did not like tests. But they closed their books. Then they put them under their desks.

"You will need a pencil. If you need the pencil sharpener, it is on my desk."

The bunnies got their pencils. Some of them used the pencil sharpener.

"Now sit down and listen carefully. There are ten questions on the test. Read the question. Circle the correct answer. Are there any questions?" Ms. Rabbit asked.

"I don't have an eraser," Ron Rabbit said. Ms. Rabbit gave him one.

     "Any other questions?"

"Yes, ma'am," Ray Rabbit said. "Do I have to take the test? I don't really like tests."

"Yes, Ray, everyone has to take the test."

"How will I know the answers?" Helen Hare asked.

"You will remember the answers. I don't think you will have any problem," Ms. Rabbit said.

     It was quiet.
