1     Why do adults work? Why do they get jobs? Why not stay home all day and play?
 
2     There are two reasons why adults work. They work to earn money. They work to help others.
 
3     Adults need money. They have bills to pay. They pay for a home. They buy food. They buy clothes. Many adults need money for cars. Gas for the cars also costs money. Jobs are the best way to get money. Adults earn money for the things they need or want.
