Rachel Interviews Baron the Brine Fly
By Kathleen W. Redman

1     "Good morning, boys and girls. I'm Rachel Scott, the host of Bugs Beyond Belief. Today, I have to admit, I'm not feeling well. My next guest has made me sick to my stomach. He's not a bad looking insect. In fact, he's tiny and cute. I've never seen such a cute little guy eat such nasty things. Since he's been here, he's eaten the green stuff growing behind our refrigerator. It's absolutely disgusting. Well, here he is, Baron the Brine Fly."

2     "Thanks for that, umm, warm introduction, Rachel."

3     "I'm sorry, Baron. It's just that I've never seen anything eat such nasty stuff."

4     "Well, that's what brine flies do. We eat things that other animals and insects won't. You can see it in the places we choose to live."
