¹     "Good morning, boys and girls. I'm Rachel Scott, the host of Bugs Beyond Belief. Today's guest is something of a star although I don't exactly know why. He's big, fairly ugly, and honestly, a little scary looking. His name is Hasan, and he's a hissing cockroach. Hello, Hasan."
 
²     "Hello, Rachel. You're right. I'm certainly not the most handsome bug you've seen. But if you really want to get into good Hollywood parties, I'm your guy."
 
³     "Really? Well, let's start with a little about you. Where are you from, Hasan?"
 
⁴     "My home is the underside of a log. Most hissing cockroaches live under logs. We're native to Madagascar. That's a big island off the southeastern coast of Africa. Sometimes we're called ‘Madagascar Cockroaches.'"
 
⁵     "I don't know that I've ever seen a cockroach as big as you."
 
⁶     "You haven't. We're actually the largest species of cockroaches around. We can grow to be three inches long. And with that kind of size, we surely do look scary."
 
⁷     "Absolutely. To be honest, I'm terrified of cockroaches. If I ever saw something as big as you in my kitchen, I'd die of a heart attack."
 
⁸     "Would you be surprised to know that many hissing cockroaches are kept as pets?"
 
⁹     "I surely would, Hasan. I couldn't imagine having you as a pet."
