Easy as Pie...Pumpkin Pie, That is!

1     I am round, but you wouldn't want to roll me. I am small, but you could get "full" on me. I'm the best of both worlds-- veggies and dessert all in one. What am I? I am a pumpkin pie!
 
2     Every year on the fourth Thursday of November many people will sit down as a family at the dinner table. They will give thanks for the many good things in their lives. Then they'll eat a yummy family feast as they celebrate Thanksgiving. Soon they will be stuffed! Just then the host will bring out a warm pumpkin pie. With clean forks and plates the next round of feasting will begin!
 
3     But why is pumpkin pie a favorite Thanksgiving Day dessert? The first Thanksgiving feast was held in 1621. The Pilgrims came to Plymouth Colony from England. Many of them died during the first winter. .....
