1     Reptiles are a kind of animal. Turtles are reptiles. Snakes and lizards are reptiles, too. Crocodiles and alligators are also reptiles. Reptiles are animals that have scaly skin. They stay warm by lying in the sun. Their bodies do not keep them warm like ours do. Reptiles can get too warm. They move to the shade or into the water to cool off. Reptiles can also get too cold. This can make their bodies slow down. When they are cold, they cannot move very fast. Some reptiles hibernate during the winter. When it .....
