1     The Christmas season is often a very busy one for stores. More shopping is done at this time of year. People are buying gifts for friends, family, and coworkers. The stores stay open longer. Many stores have sales. Store owners hope people will spend a lot of money. If they do, the store might end the year with a big profit. What does that mean? It means that it took in more money than it spent. That is one of the main reasons stores are in business .....
