1     Live Christmas trees are pretty. They smell good. Many people love them. Some people are allergic to live trees. Live trees might make them sniffle! They like artificial trees instead. These trees can stay up a long time. The fake needles do not fall off. These trees showed up in the late 1800s. They were made in Germany. The frames were made from metal wire. Then feathers were put on it. They used feathers from geese. Trees were also made from turkey and swan feathers. The feathers were dyed green. They did not come from .....
