¹     Do you have a lot of rules at your house? Do you like them? Sometimes it is not very fun to follow the rules. Did you know, though, that rules actually help you? Rules help to keep us safe. If you are riding in the car with your mom and a stoplight turns red, what happens? Your mom must push on the brakes and stop at that light. This is a rule. But what if your mom didn't stop at the red light? If your mom kept on driving, she could cause an accident. Cars could crash together and many people could get hurt. It would be very dangerous.
