Yellowstone National Park

1     Yellowstone National Park is a national park. It was the first national park in the United States. It opened in 1872. It is in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.
 
2     There is a famous geyser named Old Faithful in the park. At a geyser, water shoots out of a hole in the ground. Old Faithful was named because the staff at the park can predict when this will happen. You can also see many waterfalls. There are also mudpots and hot springs. Some of these smell like rotten eggs!
