1     Hoot. Hoot. What was that? You might hear that sound if you are outside after dark. That noise is the call of an owl. Owls are large birds. They can weigh more than five pounds. Owls eat small animals like mice. Most owls are nocturnal; they only come out at night. Owls have very good eyesight. They can see better at night than during the day. Owls have very large eyes. Owls cannot move .....
