The Big Top
By Kathleen W. Redman

1     "Ladies and gentlemen! Please direct your eyes to the center ring!" the ringmaster said. "Right before your eyes, the beautiful Michele and the brave Michael will try a stunt never done by acrobats before. Ladies and gentlemen, girls and boys, please give a hand to the Magnificent Michael and Michele!"

2     In the ring to the right of the ringmaster, an elephant was standing on a small square box. A clown was riding a unicycle around and around the ring.

3     Five beautiful white horses were trotting around the ring to the left of the ringmaster. They had bright red and gold ribbons in their manes and tails. A pretty dog was standing on each horse's back.
