1     "Mom," asked Jared, "why is this on the list?" He pointed to two words.
 
2     "Bird seed?" asked Mom.
 
3     "Why is it on the Christmas list?" he asked.
 
4     "Well, why not?" asked Mom. "It is a gift for the wild birds. Tell me, why did we feed the birds all summer?"
