1 Can you eat a rainbow? Yes, you can! You should, too, each and every day! I'm not talking about a rainbow in the sky, though. I'm talking about a rainbow on your plate. Different colored fruits and vegetables are very good for your body. They each contain nutrients. Nutrients are vitamins and minerals that can help you stay healthy and grow strong. Green foods like broccoli and grapes are good for your eyes. They also contain calcium which helps to make your teeth and bones strong. Purple and blue foods can help your brain. Blueberries, plums, and eggplant are full of purple power! Apples, red peppers, and raspberries can help to improve your memory. These red foods also help your heart stay healthy.
