Jimmy's Hat
By Mary Lynn Bushong

1     "Joe, Sara, get your things on while I finish getting Jimmy ready to go," said Mom.

2     Mom bent over and pulled Jimmy's green mittens over his hands. She made sure his boots were on and his coat was zipped up. Last of all, she put his green striped hat on his head.

3     Joe and Sara came and stood next to the door. They pulled on their hats and mittens last of all.

4     "Are we all ready to go then?" Mom asked.
