2     Can you imagine being under arrest for sitting on a bus - in a seat you had paid for? That happened to Rosa Parks in 1955. In those days, buses had seats for whites and seats for blacks. Mrs. Parks paid for and sat in a seat reserved for blacks. Then the seats for white people filled up. The bus driver told Mrs. Parks to give her seat to a white person. At that time, it was against the law for a black person .....
