1 Giant pandas are bears. They are mammals. There are not very many giant pandas living in the wild. They are endangered. They live only in a small part of China. China is a country in Asia. You might see pandas in a zoo. Pandas are covered with soft fur. They are white with black legs. They have black fur around their eyes. Their ears are black, too. They have short tails. Adult pandas weigh about two hundred pounds. Pandas eat bamboo. This is a type of plant. Giant pandas have strong jaws. They can crush bamboo with their large, flat teeth. .....![]() |
