Meet Maya From Mexico

1 Hi! I'm Maya, and I am from Mexico. My country is just south of the United States. Much of the border between my country and the U.S.A. is a huge river. It is called the Rio Grande. Mexico is very diverse. We have very hot deserts. We have snowy mountains, too. We also have tropical rainforests and grassy plains. Some people in Mexico live in small villages. Some live in big cities. Mexico City is our capital. It is very crowded. If all of the people in this city held hands, they would form a huge line. This line could reach halfway around the world! In Mexico City you will find many tall buildings. You will also find plazas, or squares, to explore. If you visit Mexico, be sure to bring some pesos. This is our money. You can use your pesos to travel. Why not travel to the land of the Mayan people? You ..... |
