1     People love Frisbees. Dogs do, too. A Frisbee is a plastic disc. It can be thrown. It can be caught. The disc spins as it flies. Frisbees are terrific to play with at the beach. They are great at picnics. Dogs jump up and grab them. The first Frisbees were pie pans. The Frisbie Baking Company baked pies. The pies were in tin pans. College students gobbled the pies up. They found that the pans were useful in another way! They were glad to find something new to do. They threw the pans back and forth to each other. They thought it was fun! .....
