Growth - When Will You Notice?

1     You grow every day. Your hair gets longer. Your fingernails grow more. Your body gets taller. You do not see these changes as they happen. Stare at your fingernails all day. Try to watch them grow. You will not be able to see them get longer. This is because they grow very slowly. Day-to-day changes are not noticeable. You can see changes over time. Pretend you have not seen your grandma in a while. The minute she sees you again she might say something like, "Look how big you are." Your grandma will notice how much you have changed. She notices your growth because you have grown over time. You have grown since the last time she saw you.
 
2     How well you take care of your body affects how well your body grows. The healthy foods you eat help you grow. Exercise .....
