1     I don't like to get sick. It is not fun. Sometimes when I am sick I get a fever. My head feels hot but I still have the chills. No matter how hard I try, I can't get my shivers to go away. What is a fever? A fever is not an illness. It is a symptom. A fever tells you that your body is fighting off an infection or a virus. When you are sick, a fever can be very helpful. It helps your white blood cells. These cells are a lot like soldiers. They are sent to the sick parts of your body ready for battle. Their job is to fight off any infection you may have. .....
