Persuasion - Feeling the Urge to Change

1     Pretend you are playing at recess. A classmate asks you to play kickball. Your leg hurts from soccer practice last night. You really do not want to play. Your friend begs you to play. Your friend knows that you like to be the pitcher. He tells you that he will let you be pitcher the whole game if you will play. You are still not sure you want to play. He then says that he will let you be the first player to kick when it is your team's turn. He is saying all the right things. You give in and run to join him .....
