Acceptance - It's A Two-Way Street

1     Everyone wants to belong. No one likes to feel left out. Your attitude will determine how well you accept others. It will also determine if others will want to accept or include you in what they are doing. Acceptance can be a two-way street. Accept others and they will be more likely to accept you.
 
2     Have you ever left someone out and not included him in what you were doing? This makes others feel sad. It is unacceptable to make others feel like they are not wanted. You would not want others to make you feel this way. Always put yourself into someone else's shoes before you exclude him. You can do this by first thinking about what you are planning to say. Then, think about how you would feel if you were him. If what you are going to say will make him feel sad, then do not say it. Instead, change what you are going to say. Say something that will not be upsetting. You should not want to hurt anyone's feelings. You would not want .....
