Truth - Tell the Truth

1     You can tell by the title and the word "truth" seen below many times in the text that it is about telling the truth. What if I told you that this passage is not about telling the truth? What would you think of me as an author? You would either think I was kidding, trying to trick you, or flat out lying to you. Either way, I have lost a little bit of your respect. You wonder now if you can trust what I write and what you read. The truth is that you can trust what you are reading from this point forward.
 
2     I wrote that stuff up there to teach you something about the word "truth." The truth is something that is true. It can often be proven to be a fact. It is not something that is made up. When you tell the truth, you tell exactly what you remember and how you remember it happening. You do not add to the story. You do not change the story from how you remember it. You are honest when you tell the truth. Telling the truth is a wise choice to make. When you tell the truth, you will feel good about yourself. Your friends will respect you for telling the truth.
