1 Warnings are signals that tell you something unpleasant may happen. Warnings tell you to beware. They tell you to be careful in your actions. Loud sirens may go off one evening when the weather is changing. The sirens are warnings that tell you a tornado is possible. When you hear them, you should go to a basement, a closet, or a bathroom. Listen to the warning signs. They are to protect you from harm and keep you safe. Your parents may give you warnings, too. They may warn you the stove is hot.
