1 Richard Nixon was our thirty-seventh president. He was born in California. He was born in 1913. Nixon was a good student. He went to law school at Duke University. He was a leader in the Navy. He served during World War II. When he was 37, Nixon was elected to the Senate. Two years later, he became vice president. The president at the time was Dwight Eisenhower.
