Backyard Beach
By Mary Lynn Bushong

1     "Do you think we could go to a beach this summer?" asked Hank.

2     "It would take two days to drive to a real beach," said Mom as she hung up clothes on the line. "What did you want to see at the beach?"

3     "I want to make a sand castle," said Hank. He pulled a small towel from the basket of wet things and handed it to his mother. It was going to be a long summer.
