1     Brian was excited. His uncle was taking him on a hike! Brian had to pack. He had a lime green backpack. He had a blue water bottle. He had a brown jacket. He wanted to pack a piece of fruit to take along. He looked at a bowl of fruit on the table. Brian was a careful boy. He thought a little bit about the fruit in the bowl. Shiny red apples were in the bowl. Long yellow bananas were in the bowl. One big orange was there, too. Hmmm, which kind of fruit did Brian want to take on his hike? He wanted a piece of fruit that would not get smashed easily. He wanted a piece of fruit that would not get bruised. He .....
