Jennifer and Diane's Costume Ideas
By Mary Lynn Bushong

1     "Are you going to Jamie's Halloween party?" asked Jennifer as she walked home from school with Diane.

2     "I think so. I still have to get final approval from my mom." Diane shifted the weight of her backpack to her other shoulder and then said, "Are you going?"

3     "Yes, I have been looking forward to it ever since I heard Jamie was planning it."

4     "He does have nice parties," said Diane.

5     Jennifer kicked a fallen acorn across the sidewalk with the edge of her shoe. "Have you picked out a costume that you want to wear?" asked Jennifer.
