Valentine's Day
By Joyce Furstenau

1     Valentine's Day is celebrated each year on February 14. It is a day to show special people that you care about them. Small gifts of love and friendship are given to someone special. These gifts are often in the form of valentine cards.

2     There are many ways to celebrate Valentine's Day. You may wish to make a card. You may write a poem like this for your card:

3
Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
Happy Valentine's Day, Mommy.
I love you!
