Hayley Wickenheiser: Commander of the Ice

1     Ice hockey is arguably the most physical sport played in the Winter Olympics. You have to move quickly. You have to think quickly. You have to be coordinated. You have to be tough! Players skate around the ice at speeds of up to thirty miles per hour! Their only goal is to get their team in control of the puck. Hockey players have to be willing to fall, slide, and even slam into other players in order to control the puck.
 
2     Hockey is a rough and difficult sport, but Hayley Wickenheiser of Canada has proven that she is one of the greatest female hockey players in the world. When Hayley was fifteen, she was asked to join the Canadian Women's National Team. She helped lead her team to six gold medals and one silver medal .....
